Here I will interact regularly on certain subjects, and try to simplify the concepts that may help you get new understanding of the subject and you will benefit out of it. The range of subjects will be myriad and will have subjects ranging from Economics, Energy, Science, Mathematics, Management, History etc to Current Events and General Studies.
This will be helpful for students who are in schools, colleges or preparing for various competitive exams. Idea is to share resources I have come across and benefited during my career as a student spanning over three decades.
Resources are everywhere, scattered as well as arranged. But there is nothing better than standard textbooks. So no material, howsoever useful, can take their place. But at times we need certain clarification and portrayal in different ways to assimilate the just acquired knowledge in our repertoire. This is an ongoing process. Renewal and revision play an important role in study. Whatever be the objective of the study, learning by heart is not the best alternative. Understanding the concept, comparing it with existing knowledge and applying it with practical situation if possible, will certainly give some insight into the subject. This is easier said than done. But learning is like that.
There are many learning methods. An individual aware of his/her dominant learning method will get better result. Instruments (set of questions) are available to asses learning method. The most commonly used is Kolb's model.

The main objective is to complete the cycle of learning. To actualize the knowledge all the four stages: Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization and Active Experimentation: should be visited. One can start at any stage of the cycle. These four stages of learning decides four dominant learning styles : Diverger, Converger, Assimilator and Accomodator.
It is always good to know one's preferred and dominant style of learning.
Day and night individuals and groups are working to simplify process of learning. So acknowledgment of the source is very important. We should respect copyright and avoid plagiarism at all cost.
Next postings will cover notes and explanations on "Supplementary Reading Materials in Economics" by CBSE to elucidate the topics.
